Drawing from the best practices of pastoral care and chaplaincy, we help people with everyday technology needs move from fear and anxiety to empowerment with dignity and grace.

​While pursuing a Master of Divinity at Union Theological Seminary in the city of New York in January of 2014, Shamika began ministering to others as a Tech Chaplain.  It was then that she realized her dedication to direct service discovered during her year of service with AmeriCorps could be fulfilled through technology.  

Soon, the Tech Chaplaincy Institute was born.  As Tech Chaplains, we serve mission-driven and social justice oriented organizations and leaders by sharing the fruits of the spirit to bring joy, peace, and hope with their technological experiences.
